Welcome to the Pacific Provident Fund and Social Security Forum Inc. (PPFSS) website. The PPFSS Forum is an organization of superannuation funds, provident funds and social security organizations in the Pacific region charged with the prime responsibility of managing and growing the retirement savings of their respective workforce. As large mobilizers of domestic savings forum members play a secondary but vital role in the socio economic development of their respective island countries by promoting investment opportunities and GDP growth.
Forum members recognize the need for more interaction and cooperation amongst each other to enhance the ideals of retirement and social security amongst its people and thus meet every two years to discuss and act upon issues of common interest.
In the past forum meetings have been held in Samoa, Fiji, Solomon Islands and more recently in November 2009, Port Vila Vanuatu. The next forum meeting will be held in Papua New Guinea in 2011 and chaired by the NASFUND as the host organization..
